In order to invest in future opportunities, explore future risks, and create a space for innovation, the UAE’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy 2031 has been launched as the first strategy of its kind in the region. The strategy focuses on cutting-edge AI tools and technologies and will encompass various sectors including Education, Transportation, Energy, Space, and Technology. The Institute of Applied Technology, therefore, seeks to ensure student readiness for current and future challenges in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, both within the UAE and around the world.​

​Upon the successful completion of the program, students can pursue further education in Computer Science and Engineering domains including Artificial Intelligence, Computer Security, and Software Engineering. The program exposes students to hands-on learning experiences that will help them develop professional work competencies through practical labs, simulators, and interactive learning environments. Additionally, the program supports students to acquire the necessary problem-solving and critical-thinking skills required of competent professionals.
